South of the Boarder

Ladies and Gentlemen, Martha has asked me (Her South-of-the-border alter ego) to do today's post since she was busy all last week dealing with this client:

I've been out of the country and very busy lately, but I'll be back full force shortly!

Vacation pics are on hold sort of....below I have some progress pics of wips on the last day of the cruise.

The lace THING is growing!! This will become the lovely Wendy's Fir Cone Wrap

This is what it's supposed to look like when it grows up....anyone see any mistakes yet?

The above is the start of a wrap made out of Rowan's Linen Print colorway Crush....stand by for more progress.

And tah-dah!! Uncle socks are completed, and recieved. The recipient is happy with warm feet!

Yarn: Regia's Strato Color

Colorway: Well it's a number but it has bits of light brown, darker brown, grey, and black.

Pattern: Nancy Bush's Gentleman's Fancy socks From knitting vintage socks...I believe.

Mods: Short row toe and heel...of course!

Blood donation drawing next time!!!
