The sock would have been in the picture, but he insisted on TAKING the picture since he considers my picture taking abilities to be abysmal.

Welcome back to the blogging scene! I, too, took some time off and am trying to get back to it.
BTW congrats on your patience to allow your hair to grow long enough for Locks of Love - that's a great charity! And you help rescued cats? That's great!
I look forward to seeing where your socks go - I just hope mine will travel from incomplete to finished ;)
